My Passion for Postcards

I love to travel!
I love painting and being in the moment.
Started over 25 years ago....

When I'm on vacation my favorite time is when I connect with the universe .... Finding that special spot, sit down with my blank postcards, micron pen and water colors ( glass of wine or local beer)
And allow myself to submerge in the view with each brush stroke then trying to document every sound, smell, taste and anything that will bring me back to that one moment in time.
I find a stamp
Address it to my husband and mail our souvenir away...
The postcard then makes its own journey back to our home

Too many times we are rushing life.... Trying to squeeze too much in, attached to our devices snapping photos... Afraid we are going to miss something....
I don't miss a thing when I'm painting.... I connect I preserve that moment forever!
